Favourites – I Need To Get Them Down
November 3rd, 2007
Alrighty. I woke up today and realized that there are soo many good Star Trek episodes. I assume it was from watching an episode last night while Woodcutting called “In the Pale Moonlight“. I’ll be breaking this down into the 4 series that I have seen the most of (The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager, Enterprise). There are 5 episodes that I have picked for each series. Lets begin:
The Next Generation
Deep Space 9
- The Jem’Hadar / The Search
- The Adversary
- The Way of the Warrior
- In Purgatory’s Shadow/By Inferno’s Light
- What You Leave Behind
All I can say about these is that they were incredibly hard to pick. I’ve picked episodes that I personally like and are significant to the development of the series. There are many many many more from Deep Space 9 that I could have listed but these are the 5 most important.
Voyager
Enterprise
This list was incredibly hard to build. For anyone looking to get into Star Trek I would highly recommend watching any of these episodes. The hardest were Voyager and Deep Space 9. Deep Space 9 is slowly working it’s way up in my book to becoming the best series overall. Originally I was going to make a list with my top favourite 5 of these top 20. That would be just too hard
The episodes are chosen by how important they are in the series or if they are just a pure favourite of mine.

Star Trek: Flash Trek V2.0
October 19th, 2007
This week it’s a game recommended by Trekkie. Basically this is a flash version of Dominion Wars. You go around running freight runs and then if you run into a Dominion vessel try and destroy it. It’s not as as easy as it sounds. Trekkie actually completed it whereas I did not. Definitely something you want to try if you like the Dominion War.
You can play it here.

Captain Bujold
October 7th, 2007
Well for some of you Star Trek is utterly painful. I just want to illustrate here that it could have been much much worse on Star Trek Voyager. The story is that they originally had picked someone else to play the role of Captain Janeway. I can even say that watching Voyager with Captain Bujold would have been painful
She just seems too old, unpleasant, and simply does not have enough energy for the role. Here’s what the final version of Janeway turned out to be.
For those of you who do not want to watch Voyager, skip to 8:45.
Lets just say the executive producers made the right choice… I just wanted to show this to everyone since it’s something not commonly known.

20 Years…
September 28th, 2007
20 years ago today Star Trek The Next Generation appears. I was 6 months old. According to sources I watched it while sitting with my dad on his lap.
So here’s a blast from the past…
Man I wish I was around to see this. One day it will happen again

40 Years
September 8th, 2006
Well before I start I don’t want anyone jumping to conclusions on this one. It is flashy friday and I believe I once said that I said I can do Google/Youtube flash videos for Flashy Friday. So this day September 8, 2006 is the 40th anniversary of Star Trek. It started at 8:30 PM on Thursday September 8, 1966. Anyways I have a youtube tribute to the 40 years showing most of the common things that any person who has watched it will remember.
